Bill Shrewsberry RIP

I was informed this morning that legendary wheel stander Bill Shrewsberry has passed away. Bill was inducted into the International Hall of fame the same year as I was.

I bought this model from Wild Bill when my wife and I were at the Phoenix race in 2022.

You got his autograph. That is something you'll treasure. I got the Greeks autograph one year at Seattle, & it is special to me.

Cliff I got you and Ted both beet, I road with Bill going down the return road at Lions standing the car straight up before the track opened. He was one crazy SOB.

Larry, I still have the t-shirt w/ your autograph, got it at Vegas when you ran the Darrien car & won the race. I do know one guy who has you beat w/ Wild Bill. Jay Leno was in the car when Bill flipped it at the end of the run. Not hurt, but got his attention. I think there is a video of that somewhere.
