I'm sure this is going to sound like a dumb question to some of you, but I just don't know. Dixon and Bazemore have identical e.t.'s, but Bazemore is showing more top speed. Is the reason he got third is because the speed on that particular run was only 297?

The qualifying sheets list two speeds for each driver - their best speed and the one on the run that produced the best ET, called "qualifying speed." For PR purposes, the results provided to the media list only the best speed, regardless of whether it came on the same run as the best ET. For qualifying tie breakers, however, it's the qualifying speed that counts.
