i pretty much had top fuel as a race for second place behind the army car. antron in this short of time has become a real 'bad ass' the guy along with beard and crew are truly awesome !!

Yup. This guy is going to be a multi-year champion very soon. He's got one of the best crew chiefs, and understands team synergy. Oh, and the boy can cut a light, too.

I`ve got to give AB his props, I honestly didn`t think he`d do this well this early, hell I still wanted Bazemore in that car when the season started. He is just killer on the tree. That .23 light against Cory in the 2nd round was huge....and Cory cut a fine .55 light himself. Beard sure sounds happy to have him, that`s for sure!

I was thinking that is the only negative that can come out of this. They don't weigh much, can cut a light and should have good seat of the pants feel. Angelle did start this trend in pro stock bike.
Antron was one of my favorite riders in pro stock bike but I still hope teams go to the alky ranks to get drivers. But in this money world, bring dollars, will ride.

I knew Antron was going to do well, but I never thought he was going to be this good this early. A big reason is chemistry, you can tell he knows how to get along well with others unlike another driver we know. You certainly won't be hearing of Antron getting into shouting matches with the car owner or getting into a tizzy over a non-issue like the other driver lighting both stage lights!
