Hearing news out of Charlotte today that Antron will be testing a K&N stock car on Tuesday for Rev Racing at Motor Mile Speedway in Virginia...Hmm..

I had NO IDEA that Antron was so committed to diversity?.? They must be referring to the fact that he competed in PSB AND the pointy cars<G>.

Sorry, I'm being naughty but, it cracks me up to see the contortions NASCAR goes through on this diversity deal.

I know - I know, there are lots of reasons NASCAR has a "challenge" with diversity - there are lots of economic barriers (and, yes, they're trying to do "the right thing") - but, I'm just so happy to be an NHRA fan.

From the article:
“We are excited that NHRA champion and world class competitor Antron Brown has chosen Rev Racing as his entryway into stock car racing. He is a great ambassador for the motorsports world, and his commitment to diversity is something that makes this partnership really work,” said Max Siegel, CEO of Rev Racing.

NASCAR has Darrell Wallace Jr and even Top Sportman Racer Nicole Lyons doing double in racing D2 Top Sportsman and NASCAR Late Models in the Southeast as well.

This could be a great crossover for Antron, kind of like when Danny Ongias left drag racing and went Indy car racing in the early 70's.
