PRE-EVENT QUOTES:
Johnson's response to being defeated earlier in the year by his teammate, Richie Stevens, Jr., at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway .

"We're not looking for any revenge. I'm hoping we meet up in the finals. He got me first round in the spring; I'd like to get him this weekend in the finals. That would be a fun match up. In all seriousness, I hope both Richie and I are able to qualify well and go several rounds this weekend. Our goal is to get him into the Top-10 in the points and to get me in the Top-five for the end of the season. We're focused on finishing on a strong note."

"With the progress that we've made this season, it's very feasible that we can finish in the Top-five in points. It would also be great to be the highest finishing Dodge/Mopar team. Our team has worked hard to gain ground this year; building relationships, developing our engine program. It's paid off in our performance. Dad's [Roy Johnson] continues to gain ground for us; he's picked up more horsepower for this weekend's race. I think we'll gain a little ground this weekend and be in a position to finish off the season the way we'd like."
