Yep Scotty and his Nitro Everything . He was on the radio one time in Dallas promoting a match race with his Funny Car and told the Interviewer the car was already in Dallas and he was Flying down for the Friday Race .
The Interviewer said well the rain chance is 90 percent coverage for Friday so you better bring your boat .
Old Scotty never missed a beat and said okay I'll bring my Drag Boat it's called the Hydro Mater .
Scotty is hard core I miss him and that Old Indian Guy driving those early Pro Mods . They were fearless . LOL
I don't keep up with them but he was crew chief / owner for his son's Pro Mod team . Had a couple new cars get wrecked and I haven't seem them around . Might be match racing out East for all I know .
I think that was about the time I found the original NITRO Mater . Scotty LMAO !
Oh forgot about Alexis . She has a taste now so look out . Jesse was wrenching on the turnarounds . I hope he found what he was looking for . They could be [ are ] quite a team .

Yeah, Scott Jr. It has been quite a while (that I am aware of) since he made a pass down the track. Last I heard, he was wrenching on Outlaw/X275 cars in the Southeast. Drag racing in general, and Pro Mod in particular, is a much less interesting place without the Cannons racing.

Got food poisoning from tainted cream gravy at a buffet once. The really bad part only lasted about 24 hours, but it was hands down the most miserable 24 I've ever spent. I felt for DeJoria when I heard about her dilemma.

Did you happen to catch Shirley's little comment that "if she had REAL food poisoning, there's no way she'd be in the car today?" I have the utmost respect for all that Shirley has done and accomplished, but I have a real hard time listening to her and her bitterness today.
