IHRA Pro Stock will be pay to race if it happens; ADRL Pro Stock continues

Agent 1320 hears from multiple sources that if there is a Mountain Motor Pro Stock class in the IHRA for 2014 the racers will have to pay to race much in the same manner that the NHRA Pro Mod racers are going to do. The Agent hears that the IHRA wants at least 10 racers to commit to the IHRA with money before they would add the class.

As for the ADRL Pro Stock class, it apparently is a go for 2014 but with a lesser purse. At least the Mountain Motor Pro Stock community will have choices in 2014.

Interesting announcement today about a newly formed NDRA. Spokesperson Steve Earwood announced a schedule that mirrored the 2014 ADRL schedule and said that there "WILL BE a valid series for extreme Pro Modified racers in 2014" I'd say ADRL is done.
