- Brown will compete in his 500th professional event this weekend at the Carolina Nationals
- Brown ranks 10th overall (among both active & inactive Camping World Series drivers) for number of events entered
- Returns as the defending event champion after powering to the winner’s circle in 2022
- After racing to back-to-back victories in Brainerd, Minn. and Indianapolis to close out the NHRA’s regular-season, Brown brought his total win count up to 74 national event victories. He will be seeking a milestone 75th victory this weekend in Charlotte
- The No. 5 ranked second-year team owner is pursuing a fourth series title and the first for AB Motorsports
- Brown is a 15-time Countdown event winner, the most of any Top Fuel or Funny Car driver (Steve Torrence in second with 13)
- With six zMAX Dragway victories, Brown is tied with Torrence for most Top Fuel wins at the Concord, N.C. facility. He will look to become the first nitro driver to secure seven zMAX wins this weekend
- Clocked his career best speed (335.73-mph) at zMAX during the Charlotte 2 race in 2022
- Will go head-to-head with Ron Capps in the Toyota ‘Supra Showdown’ finale on Saturday; Brown and Capps have been selected by their Toyota teammates to represent their classes in the season-long charity race
- Saturday, 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Team Toyota autograph session at Toyota midway display
“Our main focus is to go to Charlotte and qualify well and take it one round at a time. We’re going to take everything we’ve got and make it happen. There’s a whole bunch of points up for grabs before you even get into race day with qualifying position and bonus points. We want to make some real, good quality qualifying runs to set ourselves up for success on race day. We’ve only got one run on Friday, and it’s scheduled for 7:00 p.m. so we’ve got to make sure we’re on our Ps and Qs, get ourselves in a good position, and go into attack-mode on race day.”
