A/Funny Car Win

First off, Congrats to the Killer B's on their win at the Baby Gators.

But, I have heard several announcers say that was the first time a A/FC has won a race. Wrong, maybe the first time in the Pro Comp/Top Alcohol era, but I think the John Kinzel owned Lorry Azevedo driven Drummer Camaro A/Funny car was the first.

There are times when I wish that I could work exclusively on this column, and this is one of those weeks. I have so many things on my "want-to" list that I just can’t seem to get to them. O sure penalize the injected cars just when they bring some excitement to the class. the injected cars have flames at night and the blown cars were right there. if anything help the blown cars some. In the final it was a 5.40 verses a 5.44 for the blown car.
