That's crazy that whole side of the track was empty. I guess there must be a reason for it, but why isn't the populated side packed full?

I believe some of those videos are from Thursday's session. From memory they (Pomona) don't open those stands on the Thursday. That will explain why it is empty on that side.

They do not open the Spectator side grandstands on Thursday. Sunday was pretty full...but search the 1993 Winston Finals on youtube and check out how full the stands were back then...I would say the attendance has declined considerably since the 90's.
