WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR '09 MUSCLECAR MADNESS

York, PA - July 14, 2009

The winners for the '09 Musclecar Madness at the York
Reunion show are hereby announced for both inside and
outside shows held on July 10-11, 2009 at the York Expo
Center, York Fairgrounds.

The show held it's own with the 2008 show for attendance
which is an accomplishment in itself with the status of
the current economy.

The winners are as follows:

A commemorative York Nostalgia wrist watch was presented to Lloyd Mauney for being the last car to go down the York US 30 Dragway in competition at the
last race in September 1979.

Once again, the York show was a great turnout of some fine racing machinery.

It was very cool seeing the Virginia Twister of Kenny Warren. If you see my avatar, I have a little story to tell. The injectors on my Dad's car came from Kenny Warren's FC. Dad went on a "mini-tour" with the Twister in the late 60's so he'd know how to tune a Fuel Injected Hemi. It did him a lot of good,as he went on to be a builder of quite a few sprint car engines in his day.

I still have that set of injectors from the Twister.
