Yep, that's all correct except for the car count. I counted 122 cars on the qualifying sheets Saturday afternoon. That didn't include Hot Rod and I was told there were 28-30 cars in Hot Rod.
Terrible turn out and no spectators.
 
Wow that Judge funny car is awesome. (except the carbon fiber injector).

Do they have the same customers?

Bates, Wakenhut score final-round NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series wins
at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway


LAS VEGAS –
The second edition of the annual NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series meet – dubbed the Las Vegas Speed Spectacular – now is history. The unseasonably-hot weekend ended Sunday afternoon with finals for A/Fuel, AA/Gas, Jr. Fuel, 7.0 Pro, Hot Rod, D/Gas, C/Gas, B/Gas, A/Gas, Nostalgia Eliminatior 1, Nostalgia Eliminator 2 and Nostalgia Eliminator 3 categories.

Kin Bates of Anderson, Calif., defeated Bill Wayne of Bullhead City, Ariz., in the A/Fuel finale, 6.354 sec./219.79 mph to 6.525 sec./212.03 mph.

Hometown hero Jon Wakenhut of Las Vegas grabbed the Hot Rod category win in his 1967 Camaro, defeating Steve Buck’s 1965 Mustang from Bullhead City, Ariz.

Utah’s Ken Fullerton (Cedar City) topped Lindsey Lister of San Pedro, Calif., in the Nostalgia Eliminator 3 class.

The event attracted more than 200 entries in the nostalgia drag racing classes and also included five nitro nostalgia Funny Cars making exhibition runs, fuel altereds and a car show.

Final-round results:
A/FUEL – Kin Bates (Anderson, Calif.) defeated Bill Wayne (Bullhead City, Ariz.).
AA/GAS – Mike Leonard (Pleasanton, Calif.) defeated Rich Roberts (Atwater, Calif.) when Roberts fouled on the starting line.

JR. FUEL – Don Enriquez (Mission Viejo, Calif.) defeated Bud Hammer (Oxnard, Calif.).
7.0 PRO – Scott Christler (Leona Valley, Calif.) defeated Will Martin (Glendora, Calif.).
HOT ROD – Jon Wakenhut (Las Vegas) defeated Steve Buck (Bullhead City, Ariz.).
D/GAS – Mike Williams (Bakersfield, Calif.) won when Ed Carey (La Jolla, Calif.) fouled on the starting line.
C/GAS – Nick Kendrick (Lake Havasu City, Ariz.) defeated Wayne Hoover (Alta Loma, Calif.).
B/GAS – Doug Hampton (Salinas, Calif.) won when Eric Bush (Ojai, Calif.) fouled on the starting line.
A/GAS – Chris Beanes (Valencia, Calif.) won when opponent Jimmy White (Covina, Calif.) fouled on the starting line.

Nostalgia Eliminator 3 – Ken Fullerton (Cedar City, Utah) defeated Lindsey Lister (San Pedro, Calif.).
Nostalgia Eliminator 2 – Jay Huckleberry (Porterville, Calif.) won when opponent Drew Mraz (San Diego) fouled on the starting line.

Nostalgia Eliminator 1 – Austin Frye (Taft, Calif.) defeated Jordan Frolka (Simi Valley, Calif.).

May 23 – Street War Saturday and Bracket Shakedown – 9 a.m.
May 23 – Short Line Express/Chevron Jr. Drag Racing Series (evening race) – 4 p.m.
