#16 ALL TIME MOUNTAIN MOTOR PRO STOCK DRIVER – TIM NABORS
SPARTANBURG, SC – Tim Nabors raced with very little hoopla and fan fare, but his actions on the track always made him one of the drivers to beat. Son of longtime Pro Stock racer Calvin Nabors, Tim raced the class for almost two decades.
Nabors never won a championship, but his potent Chevrolets from Georgia were some of the more consistent cars in the class.
Nabors reached 13 career final rounds and posted wins in 6 of them.
While consistency was one of his greater attributes, Nabors finished in the top ten points earners nine times from 1985 until 1997. Three times he finished runner-up for the championship and twice more in the top four.
