Any details on what kind of trailer, etc. Need to spread the word around the Northwest racers community. Hope they don't damage the car once they get in the trailer.

WooHoo..!!

Sounds like the guy might have been in over his head..after he realized what he did/had.

I dunno, but with a $Million investment, wouldn't it be smart to have a GPS tracking device in that trailer?

I was thinking the same thing. They leave a one million dollar, one of a kind race car parked in a trailer on a city street, it gets stolen, then they offer a $100,000 reward for it's return.

If they had invested a small amount in a tracking system, they would have found it immediately. Duh! Or maybe spent a little bit for an anti theft system for the trailer, or maybe paid someone for a more secure parking location? Things like this puzzle me.

Clearly lojack would be a good investment. It sounds like from the article that he just had it in the driveway for the night while he prepped to go to the races the next day. But who knows.

We struggled with where to store our trailer, then found a nearby guy with a construction business who was willing to rent a space cheap. It's well hidden from the main road and he has two of the biggest, baddest dogs I've ever seen. I pulled up one day and he came running over to me screaming "DON'T GET OUT OF THE CAR!" I soon found out why -- they were on my car like it was a Tonka truck looking like Cujo, drooling with teeth bared and all.

I now have learned that a quick call to alert them I'm coming (and to keep the dogs inside) is worth the effort. And I feel like our trailer and car are pretty safe :)

Or even better, they could've found the car AND the worthless P.O.S. who stole it in the first place.

Would really like to see if would crack the million dollar mark at Barrett-Jackson or Mechum. I have my doubts.
