Only watched the Daytona 500 to root for Rick’s drivers. After leading a couple laps, with one lap to go, Corey LaJoie was in 3rd place and got spun out. Didn’t even finish in the top 20. Made me sick. I was so pulling for those guys.

I think somebody got it wrong somewhere along the way, and somehow it stuck. Not for the better, either. I remember a run as a track PASS. When one goes all the way down the track under power, it is a full PASS, not a full pull. What are we pulling? Conversely, a dyno run is a PULL. You do not make a pass on the dyno. I still don’t understand what we’re pulling anywhere, track or dyno. Maybe a throttle lever? Usually those are pushed forward on the dyno. Maybe it should be a full push on...

I thought I read somewhere that there was a 6.0 class running. Maybe at Bakersfield? Is this something that is run at several other tracks or nostalgia events? I don't believe it was only nitro but could be wrong.

Is Julie driving one of the Scrappers cars at the Gators or is she driving for another team? She mentioned at the Bradenton race that she would be racing there.

The Racer's Roundtable is on. Don Garlits and Shirley Muldowney are being interviewed by Tony Stewart and Danny Sullivan. Garlits is dominating the conversation but it has been pretty good.
