Quotable:
“Headed to World Wide Technology Raceway, a place we always look forward to going to for several reasons. For one, it’s close to home for our team members, being only a few hour drive from Indy. Second, I’ve been fortunate enough to have been able to win there several times, so that is definitely a track I surely like to see on the schedule. But, the conditions we see this time of year can go either way. It’s such an adaptive type of race track, and I’ve always bragged on Guido (crew chief Dean Antonelli) on being very adaptive when it comes time to tune the car. We made a little bit of ground up last race, and this is the third of three-in-a-row and then we get a small break before Dallas. So, you definitely want to go into that break after having a great weekend. Hopefully we can make up some more ground. We only have four races left, and Pomona is points-and-a-half, so you definitely want to make some good points moves here before heading into the final stretch. The NAPA Auto Care guys have been giving me a great race car, and we’ve got our eyes on the winner’s circle.”
