Whether you’re going into the weekend leading the points, in a tight points-battle, or you have to come from behind to win that championship, Pomona always has that epic historic feel to it.
“We always set small goals throughout the year, and we’ve worked hard to try and get better performance-wise and I think we’ve certainly done that in the playoffs. We have a chance to move up another position and end the season in second place. That’s a goal of ours and it’s definitely attainable, but from second to fifth place right now is pretty tight, so a lot can change. Our NAPA Auto Care team, we’ve had a great Countdown to the Championship so far, we’ve made up a lot of points and we’re hoping to do that again this weekend. Obviously, with all of the history in Pomona, it’s somewhere you definitely want to end the year on a good note.”
