“Of course everyone’s gearing up for the last race of the season, and the goals and outlook for each team are different, depending on where you’re at in points. For us, we are looking to finish the year strong; we’re still fourth in the points heading into this weekend. There’s a pretty good chance we could move up to third again, which is where we ended up last year. While a championship isn’t in the cards this year, we still have a lot of excitement heading into the Pomona Finals. We’re coming off a big SEMA week where we finally got to let the world know that Carlyle Tools has signed on to be the primary sponsor of our Top Fuel team, making its debut in 2026 with Maddi Gordon as the driver.
“We had a great test session on Monday after the Vegas race. We brought out a brand-new car that weekend and Guido (crew chief Dean Antonellli) was very happy with how it performed, and on top of that, we’re ending the season with a great partnership with Women in Motorsports North America that will be on our car for the weekend in Pomona. There’s quite a bit of activity surrounding NHRA’s ‘women in motorsports’ initiative. Women have always been champions in the sport of NHRA and we’re proud to support that. Just a lot of excitement for the last race of the season. Obviously, it’s a home race for me, and it’s great to close out the year with all our friends and family, and hopefully, we’ll finish the season by parking our NAPA car in the winner’s circle.”
