Quotable:
“Hard to believe we’ve only got two races left. I’ve been doing this for so long, year after year, it never ceases to amaze me how quickly the season goes by, especially once we get started with the playoffs. You get so engrossed in trying to win a world championship, everything else just seems to fly by. So, it was nice to get a couple of weeks off after our Dallas race. Our NAPA Auto Care team took advantage of that and got a lot of things prepped and ready to hit the West Coast for these last few weeks.

“Vegas is looking like it’s going to be a fast, fast weekend. Cool conditions, and it’s already a fast track. I’m just so proud of our team. “Guido” (crew chief Dean Antonelli) and our NAPA guys have continued to improve our points standing throughout the Countdown. We moved ourselves into the Top 5 and then into fourth place after our weekends in St. Louis and Dallas. We had a great race car in Dallas and it just seems like it’s getting better and better. We’re only two rounds out of second place in the championship point standings, so just really proud of our team. Looking to get this Toyota GR Supra flying this weekend. Conditions are telling us it’s going to be track-record speeds, and Guido’s never been shy about going for it.”
