Quotable:
“It’s always interesting to feel the vibe of a race team when you have a weekend off. For our team, coming from the accident in Phoenix and then bouncing back in a few days, having our NAPA Auto Care team put together two cars, and go to the No. 1 position in Pomona after the first two runs, it’s hard to describe. That’s the reason why I always brag about that NAPA Know How that Guido (crew chief Dean Antonelli) and our Auto Care team have. For us especially, the weekend off was nice; the guys got to go home, regroup, and spend time with family.

“We’ve got a busy week leading up to this weekend’s race in Vegas, and that includes a major announcement tomorrow about the future of Ron Capps Motorsports, and I couldn’t think of a better race to do that than Las Vegas. This weekend is our first of three four-wide races this year with the addition of the four-wide race in September during the playoffs. I always get excited for a four-wide race. People fly in from all over to see us run the cars four at a time; it’s a spectacle. It’s a lot of crazy fun for us drivers, and the first win for our RCM team was actually at the Las Vegas Four-Wide Nationals during our first year in 2022. So, looking forward to a great weekend and gaining some momentum. We’ve had a great start to our season, and we’ve got a lot of fun things coming up over these next few races with NAPA Auto Parts and celebrating 100-years. So, no better way to kick it all off than to try and win a Wally on Sunday and share it with our NAPA Auto Care folks here in Vegas.”
