Big thanks to Gerber Collision for sponsoring the event. There’s a lot of history with this race. It’s somewhat of a hometown race because Indy is so close and most of our team lives in that area. It’s always great to get into the winner’s circle, but when you have friends and family there, that’s a big bonus. This is a big weekend for us. We’ve got TERREPOWER and Adaptive One on the side of the car as part of their huge partnership with NAPA Auto Parts. It’s always fun to take something that you want to brag about and put it on the side of the car and go out and have great success with it.
“Building off our runner-up finish in Charlotte, Guido (crew chief Dean Antonelli) and the guys have a little more confidence coming into this weekend’s race. I always brag about having a car that, no matter what, is capable of winning on Sunday. The hard work is paying off for this NAPA Auto Care team. I’m excited to get out there this Friday.”
