“It’s been a long, hot weekend but we’re coming out of Arizona with our heads high. We’ve been consistent in qualifying and it’s starting to pay off on race day. There’s been a lot of hard work that’s gone into all of the Elite Pro Stock cars. Everyone qualified this weekend and made solid passes. Going rounds for Janac Brothers Racing and all our partners is exciting. Obviously wish we could have gone a few more but we’re headed in the right direction. It’s a long year, there’s plenty of races left to win but I have a feeling one is coming under the Elite banner sooner rather than later. Huge thank you to these crew guys working their butts off, our sponsors, NHRA and the fans for a great weekend.”

“It was a good semifinal finish here in Arizona after an early exit in Gainesville a couple weeks ago. It felt good to see some win lights turn on in round one and two. Obviously was looking forward to it in the semis, just didn’t have anything for it. The team’s been working on our setups for these hotter conditions, and we’ve been much, much, much better. Evidence: I’ve had my best qualifying effort in the last year, really. Qualifying number 5 going into the event, that felt really good. We were high-fiving as a team. I’m really proud of these guys and gals at Elite Motorsports. It’s been a hell of an effort. When you’re chasing performance and chasing on track results, sometimes it can get a little troublesome. Our Elite group has kept their heads down, kept it clean, and I think we’re real close to showing some great brilliance for the rest of the year.”
