LAS VEGAS (Oct. 31, 2025) – John Force Racing’s Brittany Force and Austin Prock picked up where they left off from winning last year’s NHRA Nevada Nationals by setting low elapsed time in Top Fuel and Funny Car during the first day of qualifying for this season’s penultimate event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Force ran 3.697 seconds at 338.85 mph (resetting her own track record of 338.17 mph set Nov. 1, 2019) in the Chevrolet Accessories Top Fuel Dragster while Prock and the Cornwell Tools Chevrolet SS Funny Car tripped the timing lights in 3.895 seconds at 334.48 mph. Their Q2 runs earned each of them the $3,500 “Ted Wiens Trick or Traction Award” as the No. 1 qualifier in their respective categories during the day’s second qualifying session.

John Force Racing teammate Jack Beckman erased his 16th-place showing after the first round with a second-round run of 3.937 seconds at 330.47 mph in the PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet SS Funny Car. In the first session, the car launched well but broke the tires at the 330-foot mark and slowed to a run of 4.620 seconds at 178.31 mph. Fast Jack is currently seventh in the 16-car ladder.

Force and Prock each set low elapsed time in the day’s first qualifying session, with Force running 3.752 seconds at 337.92 mph and Prock putting down a lap of 3.925 seconds at 332.43 mph.

The final rounds of qualifying are Saturday, Nov. 1 at 12 and 2:30 p.m. PT. Final eliminations are scheduled on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. PT.

Quote from Brittany Force, Chevy Accessories Top Fuel Dragster:

“That was the killer run. But all day, it’s been great for our team. We’ve been hitting our numbers exactly what we wanted to do, and that .69 was what we were aiming to do. So, to go No. 1, we’re very proud of it and it took every single one of our guys to do it. Las Vegas is one of my favorite race tracks. We’ve been really successful here in the past. We won here last year, but we want to end strong. It’s weird to think about [pending retirement] and honestly, I’m trying just to focus on Vegas this weekend, really being in the moment, being in the moment with my team, enjoying it all.”

Quote from Austin Prock, Cornwell Tools Chevrolet SS Funny Car:

“We couldn’t ask for a better start. We came in here looking for more points, so No. 1 qualifier, low E.T. of both rounds, you can’t ask for any more than that out of this team. We’ve had a lot of success here, and when you come into a place where you’re comfortable and you know your package works well, it’s exciting, especially in the Countdown. We have another opportunity to [almost] lock this championship up again this weekend, like we did last year, and we want to do that. The Countdown is so stressful, and it’s a hell of a lot less stressful if you can go into Pomona and breathe.”

Quotes from Jack Beckman, PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet SS Funny Car:

“We just pushed too hard on Q1. Our early numbers were the best out there, and it just broke the tires loose at 330 (feet). We left something on the table for Q2 because we had to run early (in the second session) because we didn’t run good in Q1 so we didn’t get nearly as good a racetrack as the cars that ran six and seven pairs behind us. A 3.93 got us good data and got us in the show. Now we see some things with our clutch package where we think we can be more consistent and push harder at the same time. We’re going to make a change tomorrow. We want to see if we can still push hard early, run hard in the middle and get that big number on the scoreboard. It will be interesting to see what our Saturday shapes up to.”
