LAS VEGAS (Nov. 1, 2025) – Brittany Force earned her 58th Top Fuel No. 1 qualifying position, Austin Prock earned his 22nd in the Funny Car ranks and Jack Beckman qualified second in Funny Car for a John Force Racing sweep heading into Sunday’s first round of eliminations for the NHRA Nevada Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Force and Prock and trying to repeat the results of last year’s Nevada Nationals, where they captured the Top Fuel and Funny Car titles in team owner John’s Force’s return to the track after a serious racing accident in Richmond five months prior.

Force’s Q2 run Friday of 3.697 seconds at 338.85 mph in the Chevrolet Accessories Top Fuel Dragster planted a flag in the ground that the rest of the Las Vegas Top Fuel field were unable to attain Saturday. It was the two-time Top Fuel Champion’s (2017, 2022) sixth No. 1 of the 2025 season. In Q3 Saturday, tire smoke near half-track ended the run prematurely but the Dave Grubnic/John Collins-led team reset for Q4 with a lap of 3.876 seconds. She has a first-round bye Sunday morning and will face the winner of the Antron Brown-Clay Millikan matchup in Round 2.

Prock ran low ET in Q1 Friday (3.925 seconds) and the Cornwell Tools Chevrolet SS Funny Car set low ET of the day in Q2 with a lap of 3.895 seconds at 334.48 mph. His Q3 run Saturday of 3.906 was second only to teammate Beckman. The reigning Funny Car Champion and current point leader saved the best for last, however, as the Jimmy Prock/Thomas Prock/Nate Hildahl-led teamed tuned the Prock Rocket to a run of 3.885 seconds at 335.23 mph. It was the seventh top spot for Prock and 25th overall, having earned four during his Top Fuel tenure (2019, 2022-23). Prock will face Jason Rupert (4.025/312.21) in Sunday’s first round of eliminations.

Beckman was 16th after Q1 and seventh after Q2 but the Daniel Hood/Tim Fabrisi/Chris Cunningham-led PEAK SQUAD made some bold decisions that paid off big on Saturday. Beckman’s Q3 lap of 3.898 seconds at 331.28 was low ET of the session and moved the Peak Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet SS Funny Car into the third spot on the ladder, behind only Prock and Matt Hagan. Beckman also saved his best for last, with a Q4 pass of 3.892 seconds at 331.61 mph, moving him temporarily into the top spot until Prock set low ET of the weekend with the next and final pair down the track. Beckman will face Dave Richards (4.022/319.75) in Sunday’s first round of eliminations.

Final eliminations are scheduled on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. PT.

Quote from Brittany Force, Chevy Accessories Top Fuel Dragster:

“I never would have imagined I’d have 58 No. 1 qualifiers. That just sounds like an impossible number, but I’ve been out here for many years, and I’ve been teamed up with many amazing crew chiefs and sponsors who have supported me to get us to that point. There are two races left, and I’m proud to carry the No. 1 spot, and we’re hoping for a strong day tomorrow.

“On that Q3 run today, we were pushing to see what we can get away with them. Well, we found it. We didn’t get down the racetrack. The second round, I thought I broke a belt or something. It was going down. It was smooth. We were almost there.”

Quote from Austin Prock, Cornwell Tools Chevrolet SS Funny Car:

“Hanging out on the starting line with my dad, brother and Nate Hildahl, I knew that the track was in good shape. I knew that we were capable of running well. NHRA drag racing is the most unpredictable sport in the world. You never know what’s going to happen. There are so many moving parts and everything has to go right when you turn on four win lights on a Sunday, or eight runs in a row from qualifying. But we never let up. We try and go up there and do the same job every time and not get caught up in focusing elsewhere other than the places that you need to be. Each one of us on this race team to execute and do the job like we have been.”

Quotes from Jack Beckman, PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet SS Funny Car:

“I’m beyond satisfied with our Saturday runs. As we talked last night, the PEAK Chevy wasn’t as quick as our tuneup should have made it. The guys made a change in the bell housing, a key clutch component that I thought was a really brazen and potentially significant move and look what happened. We were low ET of Q3, second low ET of Q4. So, in successive qualifying runs, we went from 16th to seventh to third to first, for a moment, and ended up second. I couldn’t be prouder of the PEAK SQUAD and the things that they did to make this Chevy look perfect out there today.”
