YPSILANTI, Mich. (March 18, 2025) – Doug Kalitta has some good memories from racing in Phoenix, some of them with SealMaster on the side of his car. The 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series continues March 21-23, 2025 at the NHRA Arizona Nationals in Chandler, Ariz.

Two years ago, Kalitta was the No. 1 qualifier, and he won the Mission Foods #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge with the same SealMaster livery that will be on Kalitta’s car this weekend – it was his first winner’s circle celebration in a long time, and it was the first of several during the 2023 season including the biggest one of his career after he clinched the 2023 NHRA Top Fuel title.

SealMaster is a longtime Kalitta Motorsports corporate partner. In addition to the primary placement in Phoenix, SealMaster is a full-season associate partner on Kalitta’s dragster as well as J.R. Todd’s DHL GR Supra Funny Car. Should Kalitta put SealMaster in the winner’s circle this weekend, it would add to a very successful motorsports program.

“One cool thing about SealMaster is that they do a hell of a job with their NASCAR truck series team – they’re always upfront contending for wins and championships so they understand motorsports,” Kalitta said. “That makes it fun to work with them – they’re a great company, and they love motorsports so we’re really excited to represent their brand and hopefully help them with the marketing effort. They’re giving us this opportunity to help so there’s no better time than this weekend to go out and win the next race as far as I’m concerned. We appreciate SealMaster for sure.”

“Our partners at SealMaster have become close friends, and we’re grateful for our relationship,” Team Kalitta General Manager Chad Head said. “SealMaster franchisees coast to coast mean a lot to us, and they’ve been enthusiastic in supporting us; we appreciate that very much and always look forward to seeing them at the race track. We all hope for a great weekend with SealMaster in Phoenix.”

“All my guys are doing a great job working on the SealMaster car,” the 2023 NHRA Top Fuel champion said. “Overall, our car is running great, and I think we’re in really good shape. We should be able to go to the Phoenix race and really kick some a** so I’m super excited about what’s going on there and can’t wait to get back to the track.

“Phoenix has a lot of history, and when I first started driving, that’s where we tested so I always enjoy going back there. They continue to make great improvements to their facility, and their fans are great; big crowds always show up so it’ll be fun. I’m sure we’ll hit the ground running, get that SealMaster car in the show and see what we’ve got.”
