Our Bandero GR Supra has been running so strong as of late but we just got behind the eight ball early in Charlotte and dug ourselves in a bit of a hole, which put us in a really tough first-round match on Sunday. We were able to get the issue with our steering resolved so we’re looking forward to starting the weekend with a clean slate and on the same playing field as everyone else. The weather is not looking so great as of now, but hopefully that will change and we’ll have a shot at four qualifying runs. It’s imperative we come out of the gate swinging in Q1 and give ourselves a strong baseline to work off of for that Q2 night run. If you miss it in that Friday night session, you really put yourself in a tough position come Sunday morning, and that’s exactly what happened to us in Charlotte. So, the game plan remains the same – go out there, qualify well, and then take it one round at a time on Sunday.”
