“I’m really looking forward to racing in Pomona. It’s a redemption race for me. I’ve had a really great start to the season. We went to the first final at the first race and then plummeted in the second race, so I just want to create a momentum of success in going rounds and doing well. Pomona is a great track and one that I still have not won yet. So hopefully we’ll put something together this weekend in between the rain. It’s crazy to think about the fact that this will be the 1,000th Funny Car race. We’re all going to be part of history this weekend.”
