Quotable:
“We’ve got some good momentum we’re bringing into Dallas after racing to back-to-back wins to start the Countdown. It’s going to be hot, so we’ve got to bring the heat. This track has a lot of great memories for me. It’s where I got my first race win ever in NHRA in 1999, and last year was a monumental year getting inducted into the Legends Hall of Fame and being presented with the Texas Motorplex boot spurs.

“We’re still rocking and supporting Matco’s Breast Cancer Research Foundation initiative with our Tools for the Cause dragster, so we’re going to be powerful in pink again this weekend. The game plan remains the same – focus on qualifying well and stepping into that saddle on Friday night, and then making it a long day of going rounds on Sunday. That’s the name of the game.”
